In 2006 when I
first started with DSLR photography, I was lucky enough to stumble on
the website of 'The-Digital-Picture.com' and it has served me very well
ever since.
I visited the site to select my very first DSLR, the Canon 5D Mk1 which
has proved to be a 'classic' camera. Since then I have used it to check
the reviews on a whole host of Canon camera and lens equipment, as well
as tripods, and accessories. I use it as a springboard for collecting
information before moving onto other reviews for additional
confirmation.
'The-Digital-Picture.com' is a website that is extremely accurate in
relation to the equipment that is reviewed, it has never let me down.
I know how much time and work goes into my 'Articles' and 'Spotlight'
and I am only keeping a diary 'more or less' about my development in
photography as a hobby but Bryan Carnathan puts a lot more effort into
it and his tests and reviews must be all time consuming to produce the
accuracy the website offers?
For those photographers who are into Canon 'gear' or are considering
Canon for the first time, you will be hard pushed to find a better
website!
I often visit the
website and
use the
ISO 12233 Resolution
Chart Tool
which is most excellent. You use it to
set-up the lenses of your choice, with or
without teleconverters and then you can
compare the resolutions at various
apertures.
