   Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 Lens

Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 Manual Focus Lens - This is one serious bit of kit and extremely tempting. I don't think the 1st video delivers a great review but the images in the second one from Robert White, hit the spot.

I am not a fan of manual focus lenses on my Panasonic GF1 camera but this lens is specifically designed for micro 4/3rds and requires no adapter. It's beautifully made and it has great low light abilities but that's where it stops, if you will excuse the pun. It is a manual focus lens and at 25mm or 50mm 'field of view' on my GF1, I see very little advantage over my existing Lumix 20mm f1.7 autofocus lens with its 40mm 'field of view'.

Mind you, the bokeh should surpass that of my Lumix 20mm f1.7 Lens
and perhaps also address the one area that has always concerned me in relation to the 20mm for night 'street' shots which is the halo or coma effect on bright lights at certain angles. Perhaps the 25mm will cure that problem and produce a nice clean 'star' effect?

I enjoy using my 20mm lens but truth be known, if I did not already own it, I would be very tempted to purchase the Nokton.
